Early morning house fire causes extensive damage to Trotwood house

TROTWOOD — UPDATE @ 2:35 a.m: 

A vacant house on Freudenberger Avenue in Trotwood was extensively damaged in an early morning fire Friday, according to firefighters.

Crews reported heavy flames coming from the house in the 4200 block of Freudenberger Avenue, first reported around 1:35 a.m.

No one was found inside the house when firefighters searched the structure and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation, officials said.

Firefighters have responded to reports of a house fire on Freudenberger Avenue in Trotwood Friday morning.

The second overnight house fire was first reported around 1:35 a.m. in the 4200 block of Freudenberger Avenue, according to initial reports.

No injuries have been initially reported.
