TROTWOOD — A house in Trotwood has been deemed a total loss after catching fire Friday.
Firefighters from multiple departments were dispatched to the 1000 block of Azalea Drive on the report of a structure fire, according to Trotwood Division Chief of Fire Prevention Ralph Bowman.

Five children and their mother were all inside of the house when the fire broke out but were able to make it out safely, Bowman said. No injuries were reported.

The house has been deemed a total loss, Bowman said. Red Cross has been contacted to assist the family.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation at this time.
