Bond set at $1 million for man in shooting death of 19-year-old girlfriend

TROTWOOD — UPDATE @ 4:37 p.m.:

A 47-year-old Trotwood man facing a murder charge in the death of his 19-year-old girlfriend made his first court appearance Thursday morning.

A judge set bond at $1,000,000 for Christohper Daye, according to Montgomery County Common Pleas Court records.

If he makes bond, Daye will be on the electronic monitoring program.

A 47-year-old Trotwood man who is accused of murder in the shooting death of his 19-year-old girlfriend earlier this month is scheduled to be arraigned in court today, records show.

Christopher Daye was indicted Tuesday by a Montgomery County grand jury on two counts of murder and two counts of felonious assault, according to court records.

Daye is accused of shooting his 19-year-old girlfriend Iuana Sneed on July 6 at his home on Quincy Way.

Sneed died from a gunshot wound to the head and her death was ruled a homicide, Montgomery County Coroner Dr. Kent Harshbarger ruled last week.

Daye is currently is Montgomery County Jail and will face a judge this morning.
