TROTWOOD — The Trotwood Police Department announced that it will be conducting a moving OVI sobriety checkpoint Friday.
The OVI checkpoint will operate starting at 6:30 p.m. in the area of 1500 Shiloh Springs Road and 4825 Salem Avenue.

State law requires that law enforcement agencies announce times and locations of checkpoints ahead of time.
In the announcement, Trotwood police asked the public to help prevent drunk driving. “Help us keep the roadways safe for everyone by not drinking and driving or choosing a designated driver!” it said.
