News Center 7′s Haley Kosik reports that below freezing temperatures and wet roads leads to dangerous driving conditions. Last night’s snowfall made the roads wet, which then froze over and created black ice. The transparent layer of ice prevents proper tire traction, causing vehicles to skid.

Kosik recommends driving carefully under these conditions and reducing your speed.
