DAYTON — The Dayton Dragons have extended the deadline for summer national anthem performer tryouts due to overwhelming interest, according to a release.
Finalists will perform the national anthem at Dragons games throughout the season, as well as perform live on Dragons television broadcast.

The grand prize winner will perform on Opening Day 2022 on Friday April 8.
Auditions will be held virtually this year and should be uploaded to the Dayton Dragons website.

The deadline for submissions is March 1.
Performance details may change throughout the season to ensure health and safety for performers, fans and staff, according to a release.
