DAYTON — The annual Dayton Auto Show is set to begin tomorrow, and News Center 7’s Letitia Perry was live at the Dayton Convention Center this morning for a early preview of what to look for at this year’s event.

Allison Swanson of the Downtown Dayton Partnership, said that the Dayton Auto Show bills itself as a family event, and is a good winter event because it is held indoors.

The auto show will feature futuristic, high-tech and high-powered vehicles, but also many, if not more, more practical everyday vehicles. This year, more than 30 manufacturers will be represented.

In addition to the cars, there will be kid-friendly attractions like face painting, a visit from the Cincinnati Reds’ mascot, and a live animal display.

The Dayton Auto Show will run from Feb. 20-23.
