2 arrested after Mercer County Sheriff’s Office, Celina Police detail

MERCER COUNTY — Two men were arrested during a Heroin Interdiction Team detail by Mercer County Sheriff deputies and Celina Police officers Jan. 18.

One of the men arrested was Matthew Millisor, 48, of Grove City. Millisor was arrested on one count of possession of methamphetamine. Millisor’s bond was set at $50,000.

James Carder, 62, of Celina was also arrested. Carder was arrested on an outstanding warrant for arson. Carder was booked into jail and posted bond a short time later.

According to a release by Sheriff Jeff Grey, the HIT Team also made 13 traffic stops, issued 10 written warnings and issued three traffic citations.

Mercer County Sheriff’s Office and Celina Police Department advised that HIT details several times a year have resulted in a decrease in the number of drug arrests.

Both agencies said that they will continue their work together to slow the use and sale of drugs in Celina and throughout Mercer county.
