University of Cincinnati announces 2022 football schedule

CINCINNATI — The University of Cincinnati’s 2022 football schedule is set.

The Bearcats will open their season at Arkansas on Sept. 3.

Cincinnati is coming off a historic season, finishing 13-1, winning the American Athletic Conference and making a trip to the College Football Playoff. They will continue to be led by reigning consensus National Coach of the Year, Luke Fickell.

Cincinnati’s home opener will be Sept. 10 against Kennesaw State. It will be one of their six home games this upcoming season. The Bearcats currently hold the second-longest home winning-streak in that nation.

The Bearcats’ bye weekend will be Oct. 15 and they will host the University of South Florida on Oct. 8 for Homecoming.

The team’s spring game is scheduled for April 9 at Nippert Stadium.

  • Nov. 11 vs East Carolina
  • Nov. 19 at Temple
  • Nov. 26 vs Tulane

The AAC Championship game is scheduled for Dec. 3.
