DAYTON — Preps for the First Four at the University of Dayton Arena are underway, all the way down to the floorboards.
At 7 a.m. Saturday UD staff got to work to flip the floor at the UD Arena.

Scott DeBolt, executive director of UD Arena said 40 to 50 people will be working through the night Saturday to make sure the court is ready for practice Sunday evening.
He said the First Four is a huge opportunity to show off the arena’s latest renovations.

DeBolt said that changes have been made to the mid-level area where media will be during the tournament.
Other improvements include updating amenities, adding premium seating and revamping locker rooms that were first built in the 1960s.
