The city did a study on the Fraze Pavillion, resulting in 352 pages that may hold the key to making the venue more attractive.
The study gave the city multiple suggestions on how to improve. The first option is community driven, focusing on free concerts and community events.
The second option moves in a more commercial direction with a change in management.
The third option mixes the previous two, increasing commercial shows and community events.
Julie Ringheisen says she would like to see a larger variety of performers.
“We’re not much into country, so this is not our type of venue,” Ringheisen said.
Some are surprised to hear the Fraze is underperforming, like Ringheisen who visited the venue during a show last summer.
“We walk in this area frequently and it was packed, absolutely packed,” Ringheisen said.
The city is set to announce their plans for the venue in January.
