SURVEILLANCE: Universal 1 Credit Union robbed in Miami Twp., police search for robber

MIAMI TWP., Montgomery County — New surveillance images were released in connection to a bank robbery at the Universal 1 Credit Union on Springboro Pike last Friday.

The robbery was reported at the branch at 9900 Springboro Pike around 11:15 a.m.

Initial emergency dispatch reports indicated the robber was a black male about six-foot tall and was described as wearing a blue hat, sunglasses, gray t-shirt and a black mask. He reportedly left the bank and possibly got into a vehicle nearby, according to emergency dispatch reports.

The robber left the bank and got into a black Chrysler 300.

It’s unclear whether the robber was armed with a weapon, however emergency dispatch traffic indicated a weapon was not shown.

There were no injuries.
