No injuries in UPS truck fire near Shelby-Auglaize county line

AUGLAIZE COUNTY — UPDATE @ 4:14 p.m.:

No one was injured in a UPS truck fire that shut down I-75 south at the Shelby-Auglaize county line this afternoon.

No packages were on the truck and all lanes are open on the highway.

UPDATE @ 2:25 p.m.:

One lane has reopened on I-75 south following a UPS truck fire near the Shelby-Auglaize county line.

The left lane is open, according to dispatchers.

The area is still showing a 40-minute delay, according to ODOT.

INITIAL REPORT:

A UPS truck fire shut down I-75 south near the Shelby-Auglaize county line Friday afternoon.

The truck was fully engulfed in fire.

The Ohio Department of Transportation is reporting a delay of over an hour.

The fire was reported around 1:20 p.m. in Auglaize County.

It is not clear if there are any injuries.
