MAD RIVER TOWNSHIP — Multiple crews responded to a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 70 westbound near Interstate 675 early Thursday morning.

The Springfield Highway State Patrol was called to the scene at around 1:40 a.m. after a van crashed into a barricade wall, dispatch confirmed to News Center 7.

The left two lanes were blocked as troopers worked to clear the area.
The driver suffered minor injuries and medics were called to the site to provide care.
The cause of the accident was dangerous road conditions after the bridge iced over.
