VANDALIA — Vandalia-Butler City Schools has named a new high school principal for the next school year.
The district said Matthew “Buck” Williamson will be the next principal of Butler High School beginning in August.
Williamson was Butler’s assistant principal for seven years.

He will be taking over for current principal Tom Leubbe who will be retiring.
Williamson will assume his role on August 1.
