Johnson told police “I didn’t mean to shoot him,” according to court records.

The victim, Laron Coleman, 30, told police when they questioned him about the shooting that “Casper the Friendly Ghost” shot him, court records show.

Coleman was shot in the bicep.

Johnson was arrested following search warrants at the South Wayne residence and the vehicle, which had a bullet hole in the front windshield, police said.

The gun believed to have been used in the shooting was recovered and sent to the crime lab for analysis.
