KETTERING — Family and friends came together to hold a vigil Monday evening for Anthony Gray Jr., the 21-year-old who was shot and killed outside of a gas station in Kettering over the weekend.

Dozens of people could be seen gathered and holding balloons outside of the BP station where Gray was killed at the intersection of Wilmington Pike and Smithville Road Saturday night.
Police say the shooting happened during an argument inside a vehicle that was parked at a gas pump.
Ja’Leel Brooks, 21, was arrested and is suspected of being the shooter in the homicide, according to Chief Christopher Protsman with Kettering Police.
