Funeral services held Monday for 3 brothers killed in farm accident near St. Henry

ST. HENRY — Funeral services were held Monday for the three brothers killed in a farm accident near St. Henry last week.

Brad Wuebker, 35; Todd Wuebker, 31; and Gary Wuebker, 37, died from their injuries in the incident Aug. 10 at the family’s Coldwater Creek Road farm, according to records.

Emergency crews responded to the Wuebker family farm in the 2300 block of Coldwater Creek Road after receiving multiple 911 calls around 12:30 p.m.

The three brothers fell into a manure pit and were pulled out by a Mercer County dive team. They were taken to area hospitals, where they died from their injuries.

Two viewings for the Wuebker brothers happened Sunday and Monday, both at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry.

The Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the St. Henry Church and the brothers were later buried at the St. Aloysius Cemetery.

Memorials for the brothers can be directed to the Wuebker Children’s Education Fund at People’s Bank or the St. Henry Fire Department or Southern Mercer County Joint Ambulance.
