TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy with a chance for showers and thunderstorms, according to Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Austin Chaney. There is the small chance of a strong storm or two.

The main risk would be gusty winds. Breezy even for areas not seeing rain with gusts reaching 25 mph. Cool by Thursday morning with lows in the upper 40s.

THURSDAY: Early showers, becoming partly sunny by afternoon. Breezy and cooler. Highs in the low 60s. Lows drop into the 30s overnight with frost possible by Friday morning. Another shower or sprinkle may move through northern parts of the area Thursday night.

FRIDAY: Sunny but cooler. Highs expected in the upper 50s to lower 60s.

SATURDAY: Partly sunny and milder, with highs in the middle to upper 60s. A stray shower possible late in the day.

SUNDAY: Mostly sunny. Next cooling trend kicks in with highs in the lower 60s.

MONDAY: Mostly sunny, but much cooler with highs in the upper 40s to lower 50s.

TUESDAY: Partly cloudy. Chilly with highs in the upper 40s.
