DETAILED FORECAST:

THIS EVENING: It will be partly cloudy, warm and muggy with only an isolated chance of a shower or storm, said Storm Center Meteorologist Dontae Jones. Temperatures will be in the 80s and breezy. Overnight, it will be warm and muggy with lows in the lower 70s.

TOMORROW: It will be dry early on with highs in the upper 80s. Still muggy so the heat index will be in the lower to mid 90s. A few passing isolated showers and storms in the afternoon and evening.

FRIDAY: Highs will be in the middle 80s with increasing clouds. Scattered showers and storms are possible in the afternoon and especially at night as the remnants of Hurricane Laura and eventually a boundary interact.

SATURDAY: Scattered showers and storms continue and cooler with highs in the lower 80s. A front will shift east and push the chance for rain away. The region will dry out through the afternoon and evening.

SUNDAY: Expect a nice end to the weekend with highs around 80. There will be lower humidity with sunshine returning.

MONDAY: Partly cloudy to mostly sunny with low humidity. An isolated shower or storm is possible in the evening. Temperatures will be around 80.
