WATCH: OSHP use helicopter to find, arrest reckless driver in Montgomery County

DAYTON — Video shows an Ohio State Highway Patrol helicopter help law enforcement stop a reckless driver in Montgomery County.

On April 27, OSHP’s aviation unit noticed a black sedan driving recklessly on State Route 49 in Montgomery County and were able to alert nearby law enforcement.

The helicopter tracked the movement of the sedan as it continues to drive at high speeds as well as run multiple red lights and stop signs.

The helicopter operator was able to tell Dayton police officers on the ground the exact location of the suspect as he pulled into an alley.

Two people were taken into custody and a gun was found in the car, according to OSHP.
