A boil advisory has been lifted in Trotwood. It had affected residents on Main Street between Ohio 49 and MacGregor Drive and on Olive Road from the bridge to Burman Avenue. The water has been tested and is safe to drink.

A boil advisory has been issued for some Trotwood residents following a water main break Tuesday, according to city officials.

The break occurred near the intersection of Olive Road and East Main Street Tuesday, a public works supervisor said in a release.

The boil advisory is in effect until further notice for all residents of East Main Street between Ohio 48 and MacGregor Drive, and on Olive Road between Burman Avenue to the bridge just north Wolf Creek Pike.
