UPDATED: Water main break repaired; Boil advisory remains for some in Miamisburg

MIAMISBURG — UPDATE @ 12:35 p.m.

A water main break in Miamisburg has been repaired, and water services have been restored to the affected households, according to a spokesperson from the City of Miamisburg.

Those living in Miamisburg may experience cloudy water from air in the water lines. The City has recommended if you do experience this, run cold through a bathtub or another faucet until the water becomes clear.

The boil advisory is still in effect as a precaution for at least 24 hours.

Some residents in Miamisburg are under a boil advisory Thursday morning.

A water main break happened overnight and caused “a service disruption or low pressure,” city officials announced in a social media post.

The break is impacted the area around the Heincke Rd. and Sherwood Forest subdivision.

The following streets are under a boil advisory:

  • Heincke Rd. (between Richard St. and King Richard Pkwy.)
  • King Richard Pkwy. (between Heincke Rd and Bayberry Dr.)
  • Red Deer Lane
  • Lea Castle Place

“However, please be aware that any home without water service will be under an Advisory for at least 24 hours after water service is restored,” officials said.
