DETAILED FORECAST:
TODAY: Partly to mostly cloudy skies this evening with a few isolated downpours or thunderstorms. Locally heavy rain, lighting, small hail, and gusty winds are possible. Temperatures are warm and muggy, falling into the 70s, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs said.
Overnight, a brief lull, but more showers and a few storms return by daybreak. Staying warm and muggy with lows around 70 degrees.
THURSDAY: Scattered showers and perhaps a few thunderstorms in the morning. An occasional shower may return for the afternoon otherwise mostly cloudy. Highs around 80 degrees then cooling off with lowering humidity into the night.
FRIDAY: Partly cloudy, and comfortably mild with highs in the middle 70s. Staying quiet and cool into the evening and overnight night with lows in the middle 50s. It will be a pleasant night for fireworks displays.
SATURDAY: Partly cloudy and mild with highs in the upper 70s. Another great evening for fireworks in the Miami Valley.
SUNDAY: Partly cloudy skies, warmer, and a bit more humid. High temperatures in the upper 80s. Slight chance of an isolated downpour, mainly into the evening.
MONDAY: Hot and muggy with highs near 90 degrees. Sun mixed with clouds and a slight chance of a few pop-up showers or storms.
TUESDAY: Another hot and muggy day with highs around 90 degrees. Also, partly cloudy with the slight chance of a few pop-up showers or storms, mainly across the northern Miami Valley.
