Suspect arrested in Middletown after U.S. Bank robbery in West Carrollton

UPDATE @ 11:55 a.m. (June 29):

According to jail records, a 46-year-old man was arrested Friday afternoon in connection to the robbery of a U.S. Bank branch in West Carrollton

Aaron L. Hall was booking on suspicion of aggravated robbery, however formal charges have not yet been filed.

A man who police called a “possible suspect” was taken into custody Friday afternoon in Middletown following the U.S. Bank robbery in West Carrollton.

Police responded around 2 p.m. to U.S. Bank, 2100 S. Alex Road in West Carrollton.

Officers said the suspect wore a disguise and displayed a gun during the robbery before fleeing the bank.

Shortly after the robbery police took a man, who they called a possible suspect, into custody in Middletown near the intersection of Towne Boulevard and Arbor Court.

Investigators said no injuries were reported in the robbery.

Police are investigating a bank robbery at U.S. Bank in West Carrollton this afternoon.

The robbery was reported around 2 p.m. at the bank on South Alex Road.

Initial emergency dispatch traffic indicated the robber showed a gun and was described as a black male with a white dress shirt and black Levi jeans. He also had a thin full beard and black curly wig, according to initial reports.

Emergency dispatch traffic indicated the robber was about 6 feet tall and weighed between 220-230 pounds.
