MIAMI VALLEY — News Center 7 got calls into our newsroom and messages on our Facebook page Sunday night about light over the Miami Valley skies.
So what was it?

Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Robert Gauthreaux says the light in the sky was from the Starlink-71 Satellite.
It was visible at about 7:37 p.m. for about five minutes from west to north, according to its website.
News Center 7′s Gabrielle Enright saw it over Jamestown and sent a photo to our Storm Center 7 team.
Gauthreaux says Sunday night was great viewing weather to see it with clear skies and sometimes you can see satellites in the night sky in those conditions.
