WHIO Radio wins 3 AP Media Editors Awards; 2 first place wins

DAYTON — WHIO Radio is the proud winner of three 2021 Ohio Associated Press Media Editors awards, including two first place awards.

• First place for Best Newscast
• First place for Best Anchor/News Host to Miami Valley Morning News host Larry Hansgen
• Second place for Best Digital Presence

The awards ceremony was held in Columbus on Sunday, April 3, 2022, and is highly competitive with most media outlets entering the contest.
