Chelsey Coe, who was 25 years old when she was reported missing last September, was reportedly staying with “an older gentleman” in the Miamisburg area prior to her disappearance, officials said.
Coe’s mother, Shula Woodworth, who lives in Adams County, told us on the phone she filed a missing persons report in July after not hearing from her daughter since June.
Woodworth said Miamisburg police called her Tuesday morning on the way to the scene to tell her they were serving a search warrant. Woodworth said police have been quiet about her daughter’s case for a while as they worked to uncover evidence in her disappearance.
Woodworth said police told her they found evidence that Chelsey could be at the house on Lower Miamisburg Rd. and they hadn’t called her in a while because they didn’t want to spoil the case, according to Woodworth.
“I’ve done a good bit of digging, but I haven’t seen or heard of any activity from Chelsey,” said Miamisburg Sgt. Jeff Muncy at the time the missing person’s report was filed.
