The severe storm system that moved through Miami Valley late Friday night and into Saturday overnight brought high-speed winds that damaged various properties.

The winds tore down barns, ripped through fencing, and uprooted trees. Some counties experiencing such damaging winds that power lines were downed and utility poles were snapped, causing a peak power outage of over 20,000 homes.

The National Weather Service recorded the top wind speeds in the following counties, which showed that Miami Valley saw speeds between high 40s to low 60s.
