MIAMI VALLEY — Winds reached 66 miles per hour as storms rolled through the Miami Valley Friday morning.
Wind gusts ranged between 55 and 66 mph in Springfield, Middletown and Bellefontaine, including:
- 66 mph reported at the Springfield-Beckley Municipal Airport
- 58 mph reported at the Bellefontaine Regional Airport
- 55 mph reported at the Middletown Regional Airport
Thousands without power, phone lines briefly down at Franklin City building
Wind damage, including downed power lines and trees, was reported in Clark County as a result of area storms.
