DETAILED FORECAST

Overnight: Snow showers taper off from northwest to southeast. A few flurries or an isolated snow shower will still be possible as gusty northwest winds pull some moisture down from Lake Michigan, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs said. Temperatures will fall to the teens overnight with wind chills in the single digits by morning. Slick roads will be possible through the morning commute.

Tuesday: A widespread accumulating snow will have ended, but flurries may linger through the first part of the day. Roads likely will be a little messy, mainly due to icy spots that develop and some snow-covered roads.

Temperatures will be in the upper teens, and wind chills will be in the single digits. Clouds will decrease through the afternoon, as highs only reach the upper 20s.

Wednesday: It will still be frigid as temperatures start in the low teens. Thankfully winds will be calm, so wind chill won't be a big factor. Sun will return during the day, though highs will only hit 30, which is close to the record for the day.
