Overnight: Clouds will linger through the overnight hours with a few passing flurries still possible, mainly north, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs said. Temperatures will fall to the lower 20s. Wind chills by daybreak will be in the teens. Watch for isolated slick spots on the roads left wet, especially overpasses and bridges.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy, blustery and cold. Wind chills in the morning start in the teens. Winds during the afternoon may gusts as high as 25 mph, keeping wind chills in the teens through most of the day. Highs are expected in the upper 20s. There's also a slim chance of a few stray flurries across the north. Most of the area will remain dry.

Wednesday: A breezy and cold day again, but with more sunshine. Wear hats, gloves and scarves, especially for the morning with wind chills starting in the single digits. Bare skin exposure to these temperatures for more than 30 minutes could lead to frostbite. Highs for the day will rise to around 30 degrees.

Thursday: Clouds increase with the slight chance of a passing mix late in the day. Highs will be in the upper 30s.

Friday: Cloudy with some scattered showers. It will be a bit milder with highs in the middle 40s.

Saturday: Rain is likely with perhaps a few rumbles of thunder. It will be milder with highs in the lower 50s.
