The preliminary investigation revealed that a car driven by 21-year-old Brandon Pleiman of Yorkshire was stopped eastbound at a stop sign on Children’s Home Bradford Road at US-127.
Pleiman reportedly attempted to cross US-127 when he hit a northbound minivan driven by 39-year-old Sarah Edwards of Versailles.
The minivan was then pushed into another car, driven by 48-year-old Jeremy Hodge of Greenville, that was stopped westbound stop sign on Children’s Home Bradford Road at US-127.
Edwards, her ten and thirteen-year-old passengers were taken to Wayne HealthCare with minor injuries.
Hodge and his fourteen-year-old passenger were treated at the scene and released.
Pleiman was treated on scene and then released. He was issued a citation for failure to yield after a clearly marked stop sign.
