TOLEDO — A Toledo woman is facing charges after being accused of kidnapping and torturing a man.

Indiolla Howell, 36, was arrested and charged on Friday with kidnapping while attempting to terrorize or inflict harm, aggravated arson, felonious assault, and aggravated menacing, according to court and jail records.

Howell reportedly used a sharp instrument to slice and stab the victim “all over his face, head, arms, and torso,” according to an affidavit filed in Toledo Municipal Court.
She also is accused of pouring hot grease on him and hitting him with a metal pan, as well as lighting a coat on fire and dripping “the burning embers on the victim.”
“The victim told offices that this assault went on for half an hour,” court records state.
The victim’s condition is unknown at this time, according to WTOL, a CBS affiliate in Toledo.
Howell is currently booked in the Lucas County Jail.
