HARRISON TWP. — UPDATE @ 10:30 p.m.:
A woman is dead after being found shot in a car in Harrison Twp. early Thursday morning, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were called to the 4000 block of Saylor Street on reports of someone who was unresponsive around 2:30 a.m.
“I don’t know how long ago, I was sleeping, but my girlfriend said she heard gunshots and a car sped off. It was like three or four shots, and the car sped off,” a 911 caller said in the call to dispatchers, obtained in a News Center 7 public records request.

“I just went out there, and it looks like somebody’s slumped over in the car, the car’s running, one of the headlights, park lights is on, the back door is open, somebody’s slumped over in the car, the driver’s side window is busted out,” the caller said.
Montgomery County Sheriff Rob Streck told News Center 7′s Candace Price that deputies found a woman shot multiple times inside the car.
“It looked like there’s some defensive shots,” Streck said. “She was shot and struck in the head.”
The victim was taken to Kettering Health Dayton where she was later pronounced deceased. She was later identified as Taylor Johnson, 21, of Dayton, according to the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office.

Deputies confirmed the shooting is being investigated as a homicide.
“It’s obvious from the evidence at the scene that there were multiple shots fired and that someone else fired those rounds,” Streck said.
No arrests have been made in the investigation at this time.
“We just want to know who else was in that vehicle. We want to know what they witnessed. We want to know if any of the neighbors around there observed anything,” Streck said. “The littlest thing could help us out.”
