Woman indicted for crashing car while intoxicated on Xanax, hydrocodone in West Carrollton

DAYTON — A woman was indicted Friday after causing a crash that injured another driver in August of last year.

Jeannene Beasley was indicted for one count of operating a vehicle under the influence and one count of aggravated vehicular assault.

The charges came after Beasley crashed her car into another at South Dixie Avenue and Dryden Road in West Carrollton on August, 25, 2022.

The crash left the other driver injured and needing medical attention.

Beasley was at fault for the crash after authorities found alprazolam (or commonly known as Xanax) and hydrocodone in her system during the incident.

The suspect is currently not in custody and is scheduled to be arraigned May 25 of this year.
