UPDATE: Two 19-year-old men shot and killed in Springfield Monday night

UPDATE @ 9:50 a.m.

Two men are dead after a reported shooting on Clifton Avenue in Springfield, according to the Clark County Coroner’s Office.

Daltyn Mincer, and Austyn Brown, both 19-years-old were identified as the victims, according to the coroner’s office. Their hometowns were not released.

The coroner’s office report updates reports from Monday night that a woman was shot during the incident. It wasn’t immediately known if a woman was shot or if Mincer and Brown were the only two victims.

FIRST REPORT

Police are investigating a deadly shooting in the 900 block of Clifton Avenue in Springfield after a person was found shot in the head.

The victim, believed to be a woman, was found sometime between 11:30 and 11:45 p.m., according to police and fire dispatch.

The woman has died, police said.

This is the second shooting of a woman in as many days in the city as police are investigating as a homicide the shooting of a woman found dead on the sidewalk in the 1400 block of South Fountain.

Police said she had been shot in the head. She was found Sunday morning.
