Woman wanted in Dayton shooting arrested early Thursday

DAYTON — A Trotwood woman accused of shooting her husband late last month during an argument has been arrested

Yvette Campbell, 53, was arrested at the Edwin C. Moses Blvd. Love’s Truck Stop following an incident at the gas station, according to a Dayton police report.

Campbell had a warrant for her arrest from the shooting on East Maplewood Avenue June 27.

Police also responded to Campbell’s home on Alhambra Court in Trotwood Wednesday morning following a fire there. Campbell was not at the house when police and fire crews arrived.

Investigators are still working to determine a cause of the fire.
