WASHINGTON TWP. — The Woodland Lights display in Washington Township is officially set up for the holiday season.
The Woodland Lights opened up for its 29th season on Friday, November 19th.
This year, the event will feature carriage rides, festival food and visits with Santa, all in addition to the lights display.
“Woodland Lights takes a long time to set up with all of the many many many miles of lights that we have. We begin setup in early October and work really hard through volunteers and dedicated staff -- all the way through November 19,” said Addie Weaver, Senior Supervisor of Washington Twp. RecPlex.
The festival will be open during the weekends only from November 19 through December 19 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
From December 20 to December 30 the festival will be open nightly.
The lights will not be on Christmas eve and Christmas Day.
