FAIRBORN — Firefighters extinguished a fire at a Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB) housing unit Thursday afternoon, a WPAFB spokesperson confirmed.

Firefighters responded to reports of a structure fire in the area of Conifer Circle at 3:15 p.m.

When crews arrived, they found a triplex in the Prairies housing at The Properties at Wright Field on fire.
The spokesperson said crews were able to get the fire under control quickly.
iWitness 7 video shows extensive damage to the triplex.
No one was injured in the fire.
First responders from Riverside, Beavercreek, and Huber Heights assisted WPAFB in this fire.
The cause of this fire is under investigation.
