INDIANAPOLIS/DAYTON — Wright State redshirt-freshman Brandon Noel has been named to the 2022-23 Horizon League All-Academic Team, the League announced Thursday.

He is a chemistry major and has earned a spot on Wright State University’s Dean’s List. He’s also been named to the Horizon League academic honor roll for every semester eligible since last fall, 2021-22.
Noel has appeared in all 29 games this season. He is second in the team averaging 12.8 points per game and averages 8.7 rebounds per contest.
He is shooting just over 60% from the field to lead the Horizon League and is inside the Top 25 nationally.
Noel’s nine double-doubles are the third-most in the Horizon League, including seven in league play.
He also has been named Horizon League Freshman of the Week four times this season.
