UPDATE @ 10:30 a.m.
Four people, all with outstanding warrants for their arrest, were taken into custody after police located them inside a house on Emmett Drive Monday morning.
Officers were first dispatched to the home in the 700 block of Emmett Drive after they received reports of concern for someone’s welfare, according to Xenia police Capt. Steve Lane.
Lane said while police were starting their investigation, they found one person who had an outstanding warrant who refused to come outside.

After police surrounded the home, four people exited and were taken into custody.
Lane said one man taken into custody was found hiding in an attic when he surrendered.
Neighbors said they have called police several times due to suspicious activity at the house. One woman, who wanted to remain anonymous, said people are in and out of the house at all hours and police are called at least one time a week.
“We’ve been watching this house for months, and reporting activity down there to police and the landlord,” she said. “There’s a lot of kids in this neighborhood. We don’t want this kind of activity in this neighborhood.”
Police said the person they were originally looking for in the welfare check was not located at the house and police have yet to make contact with them.
Additional details, including the identities of those arrested, were not available.

At least three people have been taken into custody after Xenia police surrounded a home near the intersection of Emmett Drive and Antrim Road Monday morning.
News Center 7’s Gabrielle Enright is on the scene and said three people were placed into custody and escorted outside the home.
