A group of nine friends from Xenia are currently on their way to Texas with trailers full of supplies to aid hurricane victims. The group calls themselves the, “Xenia boys,” and they say it feels good to do their part in the relief effort.
The group collected three trailers of various items that were donated from the Miami Valley and they were all delivered to Julia Long’s home in Xenia. The Long family has relatives in Houston and Julia’s son Shawn is one of the nine, “Xenia boys,” making the trip to Houston.
