DAYTON — A 62-year-old Dayton man was indicted on multiple charges Thursday for possession of child pornography, according to the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office.
Jeff McDonald was indicted on more than 20 charges by the Montgomery County Grand Jury, according to a press release.
Charges included:
- Seventeen counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor
- Six counts of pandering sexually-oriented material involving a minor
- One count of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material or performance
Kettering police responded to a call regarding a memory card with pictures of child pornography on June 11, according to the release.
McDonald, a Dayton resident, was reportedly identified of the owner of that memory card, so Dayton police were notified.
An investigation of the memory card and McDonald’s cell phone revealed multiple images and videos of child pornography, according to the press release.

Bond was set at $500,000 for McDonald, who is being held in the Montgomery County Jail, according to the release.
His arraignment is scheduled for July 31 at 8:30 a.m.
