UPDATE: Trotwood man, subject of missing adult alert, safely located

TROTWOOD — UPDATE @ 8:55 a.m.: 

Robert Harper has been located and is safe, according to the Ohio Attorney General’s Office.

FIRST REPORT

An Endangered Missing Alert has been issued for an 87-year-old Trotwood man with dementia and diabetes, according to a release from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

Robert J. Harper is 5 feet, 11 inches tall, weighs 220 pounds and has white hair and brown eyes.

According to the release, Harper left his assisted living facility at around 4 p.m. on Jan. 12 in his vehicle, a 1992 Chrysler Fifth Avenue with license plate number DKL4223. He failed to return.

The assisted living facility is at 5790 Denlinger Road in Trotwood.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office has asked for the public to call 911 if they see Harper or his vehicle.
