18-year-old pleads not guilty in deadly Midway Avenue shooting

DAYTON — An 18-year-old man accused of killing a man at a Midway Avenue residence in Dayton earlier this month pleaded not guilty to charges Thursday.

Bryant Lee was charged with two counts of murder and felonious assault in the shooting death of 30-year-old Timothy Delaney.

Around 1 a.m. on Sept. 4, crews were dispatched to a home in the 4200 block of Midway Avenue on a reported shooting.

According to a 9-1-1- call, Delaney’s girlfriend heard a loud bang and found him on the floor with the front door open.

Bond for Lee, who also goes by Bookie or Booky, remained at $1 million.
