Meijer offering teachers additional back-to-school discounts

Educators are receiving additional discounts from Meijer as they tackle back-to-school shopping for return to classes this fall.

The retailer is adding office furniture and kids’ apparel in its annual 15 percent off discount for teachers, according to a news release.

Meijer stores in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin and Kentucky will provide savings on classroom essentials to help teachers that have to spend their own money on supplies throughout the year, according to the release.

“There is already a lot of excitement for getting back to class, so we want to do our part in helping teachers across the Midwest,” said May Graceffa, Director of Back-to-School Merchandising for Meijer.
