WINCHESTER, IN — Memorial services have been scheduled for an area firefighter who died last week battling a fire.

Calling hours for Winchester Firefighter Rick Sanders, 48, will be Saturday from noon until 6 p.m. and Sunday at 10 a.m. at the Winchester Fieldhouse on Thompson Street, according to his online obituary.
The funeral will be at noon on Sunday.
As previously reported by News Center 7, Winchester, Indiana firefighters responded to a house in the 200 block of Watson Street on Dec. 12.

Sanders did not feel and exited the structure.
The fire department said he went into cardiac arrest and was transported to an area hospital where he later died.
Instead of flowers, donations can be made to the Rick Sanders Memorial Fund, his obituary said.
He is survived by his wife and four children.
