A few hundred DP&L customers still without power after Sunday’s storms

Some DP&L customers are still without power Monday after severe storms moved through the region Sunday afternoon, initially knocking out power to nearly 13,000 people.

As of 5:10 p.m. Monday, 483 DP&L customers remain without electric service.

  • Montgomery: 252
  • Greene: 213
  • Clinton: 6
  • Miami: 3

Storm damage, caused by gusty winds, were reported in multiple parts of the region, including portions of Greene County. Downed trees were reported in parts of Beavercreek Twp. including one that fell and caused significant damage to a car.

In Xenia, residents who have debris from storm damage are asked to place the items from Sunday’s storm at their curb and it will be gathered by public service crews Tuesday.
