DP&L crews work to restore power; more than 9,000 were without power this evening

MONTGOMERY COUNTY — UPDATE @ 9 p.m.

95 people are without power following an outage that left more than 9,000 DP&L customers in the heat Sunday evening.

UPDATE @8:25 p.m.

1,017 are without power as crews continue to restore power DP&L customers.

FIRST REPORT:

9,382 Montgomery County residents are without power as of 7:22 p.m., according to the DP&L outage map.

The Trotwood area is predominately affected by the outages.

An isolated issue at a substation on the northwest side of Dayton has been identified and crews are working to restore power.
